Your symptoms are quite interesting. I'm not sure what is going on. I just uploaded the firmware I built onto a spare RAMPS board I had and plugged in my LCD. The LCD works, I don't have any motor drivers to test if the motors work, but all the EEPROM variables work fine. I noticed I accidentally switched the delta arm length and horizontal radius on the config, so I'm uploading a new version of the firmware. I also changed the EEPROM set to set 2, maybe it might properly write the EEPROM variables this time.

Considering the condition of the arms when you got it, do you mind if I take a few hours to work on my "surprised" face on hearing he borked the wiring too? :)

Are you able to move the axes individually?

Im betting the endstops are wired NO. Send M119 and it should tell you if they are triggered or not. If they are then some firmware changes are needed. Do the carriages move the correct direction?

Hi all. Uploaded the ramps and it worked. I went through all the set up etc. But when it came to saving the settings in rep host Ie script 1 2. 3. They arnt there. Aldo when I home the arms. They go straight to the top and keep going after hitting the end stops. Thanks

If the endstop wiring is the same as the picture you posted before, the endstops are plugged into the min endstop pins instead of the max endstop pins. I set up the firmware for the max endstops, so just move all of them over one. It should be labeled min vs max.

The arms should move up. Are they moving down a small amount? That means they might be wired NC, but since they were on the wrong pins it seemed like the config was wrong.

i think the set up in general is ok. it might just be that i am doing it wrong... or the method on youtube wont work with the firmwear/v1 early mod i have ?
when i home all be4 calib the hot end goes well away from centre.
whats the best way to set up home for all arms ?
