Thanks! How do you attach that 3rd screw? Do you just thread it into the print itself or do you manage to get a nut in there somehow?

Re: V2 in Minnesota - plenty of questions.
I threaded them all into the print using sheet metal screws

Thank you for posting the files, this look like a good fan mount!

Had some corners lift on kapton so I added abs juice... Wow that made it impossible to get the parts off. Mix juice thinner or skip kapton?

Tried, didn't help with removal of the parts
Re: V2 in Minnesota - plenty of questions.
I third that! I like that design, my shroud now only seems to cool 1/2 of the material.

If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.

I'm building an enclosure for my printer, just 3 more prints for the top brackets then need to print up 3 or 4 parts for the latch setup. I'm running out of white ABS so the rest of the parts might have to be black.

Re: V2 in Minnesota - plenty of questions.
Just printed the last one of the enclosure brackets, I had about a foot of white filament left at the end of that! Then I noticed that my PEEK fan wasn't running, somehow it jammed up or something, the fan shroud is completely melted but the hot end seems fine surprisingly!

It seems that bushed fans don't last long in these printers. Both my Rambo and Peek fan have been replaced with ball bearinged versions.

Mine also, Peek Fan about a week - Rambo Fan about a month.
Re: V2 in Minnesota - plenty of questions.
I never even installed my rambo fan, and my first peek fan was DOA (essentially) and my second one seems to be slowly dying, but I've got an e3d on the way and a ball bearing 25mm backup for the seemecnc hot end which will be a backup to the e3d.

Hi JFettig. Just wanted to say thanks for making this stl available. Printed one out this morning and the fit is superb, seems to be cooling much better than my my original configuration.
