While my Orion with E3D hot end was heating up I was cleaning off the nozzle with a brass brush. I must have touched both sides of the heater cartridge with the bristles as the machine reset. Now the peek fan nor the heater work.
I was not looking for a new project this weekend. I just hope I did not fry my RAMBo.
Time to start dissecting.

Re: New Lesson Learned
You probably just blew one of the mini fuses on the board.

Go order http://www.seemecnc.com/products/5-amp- ... -for-rambo. It's most likely F3. you may want to get a few just in case, and perhaps stuff like more layer fans (surround cooling is a good idea), and other fun stuff (if you haven't upgrade to ball cup arms, or didn't get them on your printer, you may very well want to. Definitely get the injection molded carriages if you don't have them. It makes the shipping more worthwhile to get a few things at once.

Re: New Lesson Learned
Yup! You all are correct! Popped F3. Phew!
I did recently replace the carriages and effector plate/arms. With weird, but configurable results in MatterControl. More layer fans would be a good idea, but I rarely print in PLA.
Big tip though, do not clean the nozzle with a brass brush while heating.
Thanks guys!

Re: New Lesson Learned
I'd recommend not using a brass brush anytime!
