LCD Display blank
LCD Display blank
Looked down at my newly installed display, after getting calibrating E-step. Was all ready to print my first part, and no digits. Fan is blowing out the back. What to check? Is there a fuse?

Re: LCD Display blank
Likely F3 fuse blown on the RAMBo board. It's a tiny nano (surface-mount type) fuse rated as a fast-blow 5A fuse. This protects the control and logic circuits. Mouser Electronics part # 576-0448005.MR
Most posts report the cause of this being a short in the initial wiring of the fans, or, as in my case, re-routing the wires with the power still on.
There are many posts in the forum regarding this issue as well as many workarounds like soldering in a new fuse cradle to accommodate more commonly available fuses.
My preference was to get a half dozen of the proper replacements to be sure and to learn from my mistake.
Hope this helps ....
