New Max 2 Owner

Post by draw-tech »

Hi All

I am a retired Mechanical Designer, Fabricator, using Autodesk Inventor, since it was started. I help inventors to perfect their ideas, to market. My other passion is designing model working engines, One of mine is a Harley Knucklehead, about 6" Tall. see it on youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdkcsw ... SJorrhnq9A This is why I bought this printer, My objective is to print the whole engine in ABS. I have designed a Radial Layer Cooling Housing that I will publish the Stl, and the gcode for this two part cooler that you glue together, after you print it. I cool with this fan at 10% and works fine. So far I have no crashes into the Y or X Towers. I also have a shop in my garage.

By the way (WHAT A GREAT PRINTER)
UPDATE Files are on the gcode & Print Page

Hi and congrats on your new printer.

I took a look at your youtube videos. Very impressive. Would love to see it printed out.

Also, please do post the .stl for the Radial layer fan. It would be interesting to see if this design could avoid hitting walls on an enclosure as well as avoiding hitting the towers.
