Ive seen a couple of videos of people converting them for bench-top power supplies, but the size might be a tad large to conceal in the base of the Rostock.

I need to weld my ABS parts to the build plate, with less than an hour of warm-up time.

Two identical 12V supplies can be used in series to create a 24V supply. The only catch is the second supply has to be opened and have the DC ground isolated from the case to avoid a short circuit through the cases. Fairly easy for someone who knows what to do....but can be challenging for someone who doesn't.

Still, assuming shipping is reasonable, that's a fair price for an already converted pair of supplies. He's created a $60 product by adding $5 of parts and a little labor to recycled supplies with a resale value of about $10 each. Not everyone is handy enough to do it themselves.

You'll have to plug them both into a power strip and use that to turn them on/off. There are no switches on the units.
