Hi, I am building the Rostock Max and have it up and running but with no hot end yet because I'm waiting for the Kapton tape. Tape was coming UPS from California but went through Kentucky and got delayed by their snow storm. So much for my 2 day delivery upgrade to shipping.

Anyway for you other Minnesotans I live in Roseville.

Dale, welcome to the forum!
That is a bummer when you are that close to having the build done and the shipping carrier puts the kabosh on you.
Please show us some pictures of your printer if you get a chance and we are ready to help you if the need arises.

Ok here is a picture of it's current state. I'm a recently retired EE and Software Engineer who likes to tinker and make things. So I have a wood shop and metal lathe and bench top mill.
I have the Max moving to Gcode that was output by matter control and put on an SD card, that I edited to remove the turn on heat and wait for target temp. Thus I can watch it try to do its thing after I calibrated it's Z zero position to be about 2 inches off the bed. So at least I have had a little fun this weekend.
