New Member From Houston,TX

Post by BBoyce »

Hello all,

We have a Max V1 and two Orions that have run without issue for a long while now. But yesterday after heating the hot end and bed and recalibrating the end stops on the Max, I loaded a print and heated the bed and hot end or so I thought. I waited and watched but the bed never got hot. The printer responds to code, will not run m303 p1 s60 auto tune it times out but will run m303 s200. The LCD on the printer reads killed at the bottom I figured maybe it was a firmware issue, started up both of the orions they function without issue. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked the fuse for the heated bed? :)

Make sure you've got a good connection to the bed at the terminal block. There will be a small red LED near the terminal section for the heated bed. Ensure that it's turning on when you tell the machine to begin heating the bed. If the LED doesn't light, check the other fuses.

The light comes on as soon as I tell it to start heating and both of the other fuses are in working order

The only thing that's left (providing the thermistor isn't reading "def") is there is a break somewhere in the wiring going from the RAMBo to the heated bed.

G. ,

Thank you again for all of your time. The thermistor was not reading "def" so I traced the bed connection back to the Rambo and found my problem. It looks like a bad connection where the pigtails from the Rambo clip together. Thank you again.
