(MCntrl) Extrude spins too fast when manually extruding

I downloaded Matter Control the other night, chose the rostock V2 in the list and tried printing but when manually extruding to prime the nozzle, the extruder wheel spins too quick, and burrs the filament.

Anyone point to what I missed in setup?

Controls/Movement Controls - hit the edit button

under extruder the setting should be between 150 and 300 - I usually use 250 mm/min.
