GoPro Frame Mount

Post by Michele Sella »

Hi Guys,

just want to share with you a GoPro Frame Mount. I've made this for taking timelapse of my print and i was not satisfied with other models found on the net, so i've designed one myself. All buttons,LEDs and connectors are accessible.
This is the link to the model: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:633811

and here's a video showing the printing process:

Hope this is useful for someone =)

I just did the same the other day. I used a sticky mount on my enclosure then made 2 4in extensions so I can position it.
I used the gopro models, I saw yours and debated using them :)
Here is an extension I designed - I printed 2, it allows you to position the camera where you want if using a sticky thing.

Nice! I've used an old car phone holder with flexible bracket. Designed an adapter for the gopro mount and it's working very well, you can see it in the photos on thingiverse page. Btw nice design! Plastic enclosure is my next and last ste!

Awesome! Thanks for the link for the file! I'm pumped. Got a GoPro for christmas and I've been making all sorts of mounts and brackets the last week. I like the one you posted. Leaves the mic area exposed and everything.

I was printing it last night when I noticed my parts fan wasn't running. Jiggled the wire and there was a bad connection and blew a 5A nano fuse.

Did some repairs today (http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php ... =50#p59421) and now it's printing again. Got the GoPro on it, so hopefully I can upload a video of the thing being printed. We'll see how it goes.

I had the camera set up, but the lighting and angle wasn't good, so the video is useless at best. Mount is awesome though!
