I have E3D kraken on my Rostock Max V2, E3D hot end side PLA and PVA jamming was solved by this method: http://forum.e3d-online.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=287
However,I still get PVA jamming at eztruder side from time to time.
I already mod my eztruder like this: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php ... =ninjaflex
I found another problem of eztruder, there is a small gap in aluminum block and quick connector. The thread portion of quick connector is around 3mm long, but the hole of aluminum block is around 5-6mm deep, so there is a wider space and it often cause kinking and jamming.
I put a 3mm long PTFE tube in it. You can chamfer the proximal end of the tube. Now I can print PVA, I think this may work with other soft filaments.
Another small mod of eztruder for soft filaments
Re: Another small mod of eztruder for soft filaments
Nice work, and good discovery. I'm about to start printing TPU so this might come in handy. E3d also has a "through hole" design I believe, that ships with their v6 kits, that allow the PTFE tube to pass completely through the brass fitting and up to the extruder drive wheel.
