[Hawaii] Just ordered a Rostock Max V2

Hello all! I've been browsing for a few weeks and have had the 3D printing bug for a year or so now. I just decided that I'd order an RM2 this weekend with the free shipping offer. I'm planning on fiddling around with it as a hobbyist for a bit and maybe trying to get a small side-business started since there seems to be a lack of 3D printing services here and shipping from the big mainland US companies is expensive. This seems like a good community who shares their mods and projects pretty freely, so I'm happy to join in!

Welcome. I've had my MaxV2 working for just a few days now. Don't forget to order some filament so you can get started right away. Get some ABS for sure, as the first parts (fan shrouds) you'll make need the higher temp material.

Thanks for the welcome! I will for sure be taking photos of the build and I ordered a kilo of ABS and PLA so I should be all set! I also ordered some silencing stepper mounts from Tricklaser, so hopefully they get here at the same time.
