Hello from Oklahoma
I had a long post but my computer ate it. So here is a much shorter version. I purchased a Rostock MAX v2 printer from SeeMeCNC last weekend. I cannot wait to get it and use it to make stuff. I got some NEMA motor dampeners from eBay as an upgrade but everything else I plan to use as stock until I get some experience 3D printing. I've been interested in 3D printing for a long time and decided on this printer for stability of the structure and the improvements SeeMeCNC makes to the printer. One of the first things I'd like to build with it is an automatic cat feeder for 3 cats with an archimedes screw.

The motor dampeners are a good choice for your first modification, they will make your printer much quieter.Hunin wrote:I had a long post but my computer ate it. So here is a much shorter version. Your cats will be quite a bit happier also with a litter box that stays clean!

Thanks for the welcome Eaglezsoar! I got my Rostock MAX v2 today in the mail. Busy getting the laser cut parts out of the "wood" board. Created a build thread for anyone interested.
