I occasionally come across filament spools that have a bigger radius or a taller profile than will easily (if at all) fit on the top-mount filament arms from SeeMeCNC. I also have the wiring harness snaked underneath where the spool holder is, so sometimes even a "normal" sized spool will ride on top of that.
The Big & Tall Filament Holder Arm accommodates spools up to 100m tall (bottom of spool to top of spool) and raises the arm about 20mm higher than stock, so it should hold just about anything you can throw at it without interference.

Re: Big & Tall Filament Holder Arm for Rostock MAX
I would make the flat part that the spool rests, on a little curved. Having two edges like that can cause it to creak, and hop.
I added a layer of clear glossy packing tape to reduce friction. I never hear a noise from spool anymore.

Re: Big & Tall Filament Holder Arm for Rostock MAX
I considered doing that initially, but thought it was problematic since different spools have different diameters. However, I went ahead and added a curved top surface for an "average" spool. It will probably work better than before, even if the spool has a different diameter. The new .stl is on Thingiverse at the link above.
