Termistor Wire Harnesses
I have had the Rostock Max for a while now and just now getting back to it to finish the heating bed and electronics.
I went to wire the heating bed up and the instructions call for two thermistor wiring harnesses. I have been very carful to keep everything in bags and together for when I would resume the build. Now I can not fine the two white wires with the connectors to the board. The wires are no big deal but the connectors are two pole and have a clip on them to lock to the board. Where can I get those, I wanted to get it all wired this weekend but looks like that is not going to happen.
Is it possible they were left out of my kit by mistake and I just never noticed?

I think the part number from mouser electronics is 538-50-57-9402joecnc2006 wrote:I have had the Rostock Max for a while now and just now getting back to it to finish the heating bed and electronics.

You will also need 4 of part number 538-16-02-0096 which are the pins that accept wires from 24awg to 30awg and cost 12 cents each.joecnc2006 wrote:Another Question, What gauge wire is it suppose to be?
Re: Termistor Wire Harnesses
Those wires were shipped with the Rambo, so if you have any Rambo parts stashed anywhere, check those too.

Re: Termistor Wire Harnesses
Not sure, but check at your local hobby shop, they might have something that could work. Like what is called a JST connector.
Do you have any jumper wires from some other project, hot melt glue two together and make your own plug.
Wire is light guage like 24awg

A JST connector will not properly mate with the thermistor connectors on the RAMBo. The thermistor wires were included in the little Ziploc baggie that ships with the RAMBo box. It's the same bag that contained the three end sotp switches, the end stop wiring and the extra 2 and 3 pin connectors with crimp pins.

Re: Termistor Wire Harnesses
hmm did not have a little bag with those, I do not have any switches other that the 3 limit switches. I just ordered three small fans one 25mm x 10mm and two 30mm x 10mm and a new LCD daughter board. I accidently soldered everything on one side of it, That's what we get when we work on it into the night, should have paid more attention.geneb wrote:A JST connector will not properly mate with the thermistor connectors on the RAMBo. Re: Termistor Wire Harnesses
I've never seen a RAMBo box from Ultimachine that did NOT have that little baggie. Keep searching.
