Greetings from Argentina

Post by Tincho85 »

Hello from the other side of the world!!, my name is Martin and I'm from Argentina.
First of all, excuse my language, it's been a while since I took my English lessons.

I've just bought a Rostock Max but with no laser cut sheets (short story: customs problem).
I made the payment two days ago, can't wait to start building it! :D. At the moment I'm going
to cut the wood, so that I'll have everything ready for when it arrives.

But when I downloaded the CAD file and opened it with Rhino, the scale got messed up.
The file is: "WOOD RMAX EZ SHEET 1 OF 3.DXF"

TOTAL LENGHT x TOTAL WIDTH: 812,8'' x 457,2'' (a little big)

I've found a readme file in the Download section and it says that it should be of 32''x18''.
Can someone please confirm this? or give me the exact measures? We use metric system here.

I honestly don't want to cut the wood and then realize that it doesn't fit.

Another thing, red and blue edges are for cutting? green for engraving?

I think that's all, thanks for the help, and lets hope I'll be printing soon.
Martin.

Hey there. Congrats and welcome. The dxf files are in metric, so those are in mm. As for the colors, yes, green is engraving, blue is first cut then red. Yellow is sheet size,

Have fun!
