There is a post in the RAMBO forum with the part numbers, digikey or mouser will sell them to you.

I had one of those small "nano" fuses go out on my board when I shorted something... Here's where I found after talking with John @ seemecnc :D

"Found the ones you mentioned on ultimachines site: https://ultimachine.com/content/fuse-0448005mr. Also found it here ever so slightly cheaper :) http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... 0448005.MR "

You can also use 576-0448010.MR which are 10 amp fuses from Mouser.

For the german guys in here i got the fuses from conrad: http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/5296 ... aege-T-5-A?. They are a tiny bit smaller than the original but they fit in the holder and hey it works :-)

I ordered 20 on eBay for $8.99 of the 10 amp version. If anyone wants one, send me a PM and I'll sell it to you at cost.

Yesterday I tried to watch the FAN signal on my oscilloscope, and managed to shortcut the wires twice, blowing one fuse each time.

Some days you ought to stay in bed.

Anyway, I don't have CMS fuses, so I soldered normal size fuses to the blown ones. As I did not have 5Amps, nor 10Amps, I put one slow fuse of 2 Amps, and another of 3.7Amps....

It does the job until now, and it seems to be enough to at least print PLA.

I don't measure the impact of putting slow fuses instead of fast ones, however, I believe that because of the Amps difference, it should be fine.

What do you guys reckon ?

I think you should purchase the 10 amp version of the fuse that belongs in there. I believe in hacks but not on the electronics board.

Well, I do intend to buy them, but not before I have more electronics components to purchase...

in the mean time, will do...

and if I fry the card, I'll have a chance to buy more components from mouser to replace the destroyed ones.

Anyway, thanks for your advice : Anyone with no ability in electronics shall follow.
