Print Quality and Time

Post by soul_reaper_38 »

After a few months of inactivity I fired up my Rostock Max V2. I never really fine tuned it so I was hoping to get some feedback.
What kind of bothers me more than anything is the print time. Should this take 2 hours to print? I'm using MatterControl to slice.
I set it to .3mm thickness and 10% infill. Speeds are 60mm/s perimeter, 80mm/s infill. 2 count shell with 6 top layers and 4 bottom layers. Printed with supports and a raft. 210C extruder and 60C bed.
I see warping towards the aft of the boat and there were a lot of strings to clean up so I'm messing with the retraction.
Please, any help is appreciated.

What is your acceleration set to (in firmware and in the slicer)?
