Using the same controller as it's big brothers,

I checked the fit of the cover this morning before work, and it fit fine. The knob is a little large, I'll shrink that down to size to match the one on the EZ struder. Tonight I'll see how the reset button installs.

And as a side note, if you hit the reset button while printing, it does not go back to home position.

If you have a display hooked up to your Eris printer, and have an itch to try the latest firmware,,,, Don't do it unless you have a copy of your current firmware. After Jetguy posted that the latest firmware doesn't enable the display, i tried it for myself last night. Not only does the display not work, neither does the sd card reader. The website's chat window din't reply to my queries,,,, and GeneB's reply on the other thread is basically "the Eris doesn't come with a display, so of course it's not enabled."

If anyone figures out the work around for this,,, post it up!!

Use my config.h from that same post. I figured out the easy way to "fix" that.

Caution, the attached config was for upgraded motors and that might overheat the stock motors or cause problems. Sorry, just was a little quick on the posting there and forgot my changes.

Again, do not use this config unless you also upgraded the XYZ motors.

The line to enable LCD is line 738, just change to type 13 and that solves it.

Oops, caution, caution my config was for changed motors!!!! Do not use the whole config if you did not match my XYZ Eris motor upgrade.
Just change line 738 in your config.h

Again, simplest change ever. Change from type 0 to type 13 and flash.
