Once you've got it calibrated, you're good to go. Hell, John throws them in the back seat of his car, etc. and they don't lose calibration. Once you set it, you can (for the most part), forget it.
Stick it on a desk and let it run - just keep it out of drafts.

Yes, I wonder about drafts, I added the little 30mm blower and duct and things leaned away from it so ordered two more fans, maybe cut back on the wind to 50% and even it out?

If you're printing ABS, you cannot use fans. Layer fans should only be used with PLA.
