Chipped Boro?

Post by morgandc »

Well, not sure how, but I now have a chipped boro glass plate. This last print had the plate at 85c,and the part did stick pretty well. It isn't in the exact center, so I don't think it was related to probing.

Could be a manufacturing defect... i suppose there is nothing left to but flip it over, and look into getting a sheet of PEI.

I had that happen a few times when using ABS juice. I have been using it now for over a year with PEI and have had no problems.

My current sheet has chips on both sides. Been printing for about 9mos, primarily PETG. Last chip removed itself when i tried to reposition some fablam. Think its just the name of the game, when you constantly heat and cool stuff
