Finally Introducing Myself

Post by bLiTzJoN »

Bout time I get acquainted with the community. Greetings!

Ok, back to printing.

Colleague at work inspired me to pull the trigger on getting a 3D printer. Scouring the interwebs researching various options, I ordered the Rostock Max v2 back in Nov 2015 along with a ton of plastic. He and I traveled to SeeMeCNC and picked the goods up after devouring a couple tacos at Taco Time just down the road. Fast-forwarding to today, the printer is seldom off unless I'm doing part upgrades, etc... Love it!

As for my background, just perform a search for blitzjon - I'm pretty much everywhere.
RMv2: HE280 board, EZRStruder, E3Dv6, 713Maker effector, Microswiss nozzles, GeckoTek3D base, Capricorn tubes, steel belts, titanium bearings, curtain enclosure
Tevo LM: TMC2208 drivers, E3D volcano w/pancake stepper, steel belts, aluminum idlers

And you can keep your tacos warm on the heated bed :)
I'll admit to doing this more than once.

Gotta watch the grease on the bed causes prints to stick funny, but if it ain't greasy - it ain't a good Taco.

Welcome to the forum, bLiTzJoN.
Thank you for purchasing the Rostock Max V2 from SeeMeCNC.
It's great that you successfully print a lot of stuff, maybe you could send us a picture of your completed printer.
Happy Printing!
