Card hand

Post by keokolo »

This is kind of a quick tweaking test, checking how much detail can be maintained. ABS, 230, 50% infill, about 2 hours. Still struggling with trying to get rid of the slightest amount of stringing, even though it sands off pretty easy.

Cool print!

Why that much infill? 20% or maybe 15% 3D honeycomb will do the trick.
Try it if you can, I love that infill.

It depends on the build. I have had perimeter failures in more detailed areas with 20%. I usually use 30% as the best compromise between build time/strength. I use 50% for more weight and rigidity, something standing. This is a 30% fill to keep build time down but still have some heft in the hand. That is what is great about the Max V2, full size parts, mechanical and otherwise.
