as opposed to using the thermistor shipped with the V6 any reason not to use the thermistor that came with my stock hot end, I have a few spares.....

not that I can think of, although I would use E3D's fiberglass sleeving on the seemeCNC thermistors so you don't add PTFE back into your all metal hotend. the sleeving may degrade after a few thermistor swaps if you don't get more. Only concern would be making sure the sensor number is right, which I'm sure you can manage. I prefer the PT100 sensors myself, although if you want to use the volcano with them it's a hassle.
