Yesterday's build

Post by keokolo »

This is a build from last night, ABS, a little over 2 hours, with E3D V6 hot end. I finally figured out the hemisphere correction sequence and have ABS staying rock hard flat and even on that all important first trace. I am testing all the limits of Max V2 build volume now, multiple projects. It is going almost all the time I am awake, have done a few 20+ hour prints. One thing, after using Slic3r for over a year, I have found it is full of bugs and Cura is way more efficient.

I like Cura, too.

It's not Geordi's visor... What is it?

Right, a visor. It is funny how the supports end up looking like Jordi's glasses and they have a structure on their own that would be almost impossible to do deliberately. The Max V2 is at a good build volume for many full size functional build wearables.
