Prometheus V2 install issues

Post by LvL99Onion »

Hey guys im new to 3D printing and I just bought a broken Max 2, the extruder was really out of shape so i went ahead and about a prometheus on the recommendation of someone. I now have it and tried to install it but now my LCD is telling me

NOZ : Def
Bed : Def

I have updated my firmware as it asked and make sure all my connections are there. Since Im new to this I have never solder before and gave it my best. I couldnt find the connection for the 2 point dupont so I cut off the head of the 2 points and solder them on to the former wires that were there for the e3d v6. Im not sure if that was the problem but any help would be extremely nice. Thanks.

That readout points to the thermistors as being the problem, most likely the one for the hotend. Start checking the connections, and if you haven't done so already, download the manual so you can make sure the RamBo board connections are correct.

Thanks - I had the same problem; just had to loosen the anchoring screw!
