Gaps around perimiters

Hi all,
I'm having trouble with gaps around the perimeters of my prints. Particularly around things like screw holes in my parts. Here are a couple of pics.

It seems like the infill doesn't quite make it up to some of the edges. So I doubled the infill overlap from 15% to 30% but that doesn't seem to have helped. I also tried cranking up the extrusion multiplier but that didn't really seem to help and it started to cause the extruder motor to skip.

I'm also seeing this:

I think this is part of the same issue. It looks like when it tries to do the bridge it doesn't run far enough across to get the extruded material to stick and then when it comes back it just loops up.

I'm using Cura as my slicer and this part was printed with 100% fill out of PLA with .2mm layer height. I'm still very new to this whole 3D printing thing so maybe I'm doing something silly.

Just for S's and G's, try reducing the nozzle diameter in Cura. This should force paths to be closer to each other, and hopefully fix that gap. If not, your extrusion settings could be slightly off if you haven't measured the diameter of your filament. Make sure the diameter matches your slicing settings.

If neither of these things work, I'm sure someone else may have some suggestions.
