hi, from vic, aus

Post by dvandamme »

Hi, while I wait for my Rostock to arrive, I figured I'd introduce myself. My background is in 3d interactive elearning design using cinema4D and Unity3d (think games) with a lot of mechanical 3d. I've worked in Inventor (v9-10) as a structural craftsman. Also, Im fascinated with anatomy.
My main interest in printing is anatomy and prosthetics.
I'm very new to 3d printing - having only very limited exposure through work, but have been armchair interested in the developments of the field for years. Ive built a few arduino products (2 for clients), using them as input/output controller for Unity3d simulators.
There looks like a huge amount of experienced folk on this board, which was great to see and one of the contributing reasons for me getting a rostock
Have fun
