Just finishing my first print with the HatchBox ABS. I like the filament. The colors are much more vibrant and it will be interesting to see how the colors print.
Has a lower melting temp by about 10 degrees as compared to SeeMeCNC ABS. Seems like much better layer formation. Stuck very well to the PEI. Almost to well and I will decrease my bed temperature.
Will keep working and updating.

So I have almost exclusively been printing with the Hatchbox ABS since I started with my 3d printer.
Things I've notices over the 2 other brands I've tried (Maker Geeks and SeeMeCNC), I seem to get smoother finished parts with the hatchbox and the amount of odor is almost nil, much better than the SeeMeCNC brand.
Its hard to beat at 21.98 shipped if you are a Prime member on Amazon. Has anyone found any other good buys on a particular brand of Filament?

I agree. At this point in time I will be ordering HatchBox for my future filament orders!!

My first role of Hatchbox ABS had a moisture problem and there was a lot of popping printing with it (and defects in the prints due to it). I had ordered 3 PLAs from them as well and figured out there was a defect in the packaging that must have let in moisture. The PLAs have all been printing great so far and I managed to dry out the ABS.
I had to switch to BuMat for my next order since Amazon was out of Hatchbox White. It will be interesting to compare them.
I have seeme cnc abs in blue, botfeeder abs in blue and green, microcenter abs in toner black, and inland abs in red. the seeme blue prints fabulous, the botfeeder blue and green, no matter what I do, strings when it does a non print move from part to part on a single print. If I do a single object with it, no problem except for the popping from who knows what occasionally, that occurred right out of the box, so not sure if it was a moisture problem. moisture does not seem to be as big of a deal with ABS.
the bot feeder I got when they did a 20 dollar promo, but I WONT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, too much of a hassle.
Both the inland red abs and the micro center toner black are fabulous! they both measured 1.81 thru the length of the spool, no stringing on multiple parts, no bed adhesion problems at 90C with purple elmers glue stick. I paid 14.75 for the red, and 18.75 for the black.
Fry's electronics is selling some really cheap ABS stay away...
I have not printed anything in PLA so I have no recommends on that.
