[resolved] thermistor got off

Post by jeffhuber »

A print came loose off the bed and got all messy in my e3d hot end. I printed another print after just fine. Now the machine has cooled down but the thermistor says the hot end is hovering around 212c when it is obviously cold (around 33c). Thoughts on how to fix this?

You most likely have a short somewhere, probably between the thermistor and the heater. First thing to do is to disconnect them from the Rambo board and measure the resistance of both. At room temperature the thermistor should be about 100KOhms and the Heater about 3Ohms.
