Rambo/Repetier connects ..... then "waiting"

Post by grayd »

I have the rostock plugged into the USB connection, port is live, Repetier software recognizes that the machine is powered up and connected but when I try to run the setup commands in manual control nothing happens. When I hit the connect button in the software it updates from disconnected to connected on screen but has 4 commands "waiting" in the que. Adding the manual commands just ups the waiting counter by one. What have I missed, or better yet, how can I troubleshoot this? Thanks....grayd

Do you get the splash message when it connects? should be something like FIRMWARE_NAME:Repetier_0.80.......
Have you set the BaudRate to 250000 and selected the correct Comm port in the printer settings?

Ahh, baud rate was the problem. Apparently the default was too low. Thank you, on to calibration!
