Upgrading from a Cupcake CNC

Post by jwalrath »

Hello All,

So I have had an MK4 cupcake cnc (actually I use it but my employer bought it) since the early days and have finally decided to get a good machine and just ordered my OWN Rostock Max V2. Looking forward to building and getting my children involved. They have recently gotten excited about the Cupcake and I wanted to get a machine that didnt have so many limitations and issues. Should be fun.

Also already started viewing the forums and found a ton of good info. I hope to be able to provide so useful information once I get going on my rostock.

Take care and I hope you have a great holiday season.

You will love your new Rostock and I love it when the kids are involved with the build, it helps them get interested in Science.
Make sure you download the latest assembly manual from the V2 Rostock sub-forum and read it before you build your printer.
We are here to help so if you have a question just send it to us!
You and your family also have a great holiday season!

Thanks!!! I have downloaded and gone over the new instructions several times. Already got the ultra copper RTV and getting itchy to get started on the build.

Great forum and community!
