Endstop wiring

I'm sure there's a very simple answer to this, but it eludes me...
The manual clearly states the white wire is to be pin #1 in the connector, however I don't see where it's stated which spade the white wire connects to on the switch (C or NC). Could someone please clarify? Thanks in advance.

Figure 93 shows the white wire connected to the Common terminal on the switch, identified in Figure 91. That said, it's just a switch. Polarity doesn't matter in this case.
