Hello from Los Angeles
Hello from Los Angeles
My name is Lino. I 3d scan and 3d print for the entertainment and art industries. I've decided to teach kids how to incorporate technology to be creative. I bought a used Rostock Max ver 1. Nice to meet you all.
Re: Hello from Los Angeles
Hey there Lino.
There are actually a few of us out here on the west coast, Los Angeles and Orange County.
Since you already have experience in 3d printing and scanning, there won't be any surprises with the Rostock.
Delta's aren't any more challenging than the cartesian type printers in terms of setup and use. Just make sure that you thoroughly read geneb's assembly guide so you understand how everything is put together (especially the chapters on calibration).

Been in Ohio for over 60 years, born here and will most likely die here. I do not like the climate but my roots are here.Behold wrote:Thanks, I'm actually from Ohio. Went to school in Toledo
Toledo was a good city, but like so many the job situation has deteriorated the city, the people and the attitudes of many.
