old man with new toy

Post by beglylw »

Hello all, just purchased a Orion. many years experience with RP equipment purchased and ran many of the different processes Z- corp powder based, Stratasys FDM from their first 150 to the Titans. SLS (selective laser sinter) from DTM (now 3-D Systems), Stereo-lithography (SLA) 7000 3D Systems. Unfortunately the company where I worked in R&D went south and I gained an early retirement. Hoping this new Delta will give me an opportunity to keep designing and "rapid Prototyping" new toys.

Old is relative here. You might end up being one of the younger ones.

Yea, you can start assuming it when you are older than dirt like me.

I would never have believed it until I saw the happy snap of you and the SeeMe boys :)

There's hope for me yet - if your mind can be as quick as anyone here, perhaps I will be intelligent also when I'm older.
