Z-axis + Leveling
Z-axis + Leveling
So now I got my hot end working again (John , The thermistor was touching the 12v line for the heating resistors, somehow that resulted in it being super sensitive) But Now I feel that my z axis was done wrong when I built it. The z-axis screws sit on the table, when I look at seemecnc's they aren't touching the table
Re: Z-axis + Leveling
There's half an inch or more under my screws.
Here's a detail shot.
Note:
1) The platform sits above the bar clamps. Note the orientation and the order of the bar clamps and the bars they clamp.
2) I have the feet attached which gives it more ground clearance.
3) There are two 'finish nuts' (not nylock nuts) between the timing belt pulley and the plate. The first is pretty much completely inside hte well in the plastic plate, snugged up against the bearing. The second is snugged up against that, and the pulley is right next to the that nut, being held by the nut inside its hexagonal cavity at the bottom. (Make sure the pulley is brim down, as shown.)
