To get access to the power supply and potentially replace it, what would be the best way to gain access without screwing up the printer alignment?
Would it be save to take the bottom plate off?
Thanks!
Taking ORION apart
Re: Taking ORION apart
Sorry to reply to my own thread, but I found an easy solution actually:
1. Take off the LCD panel
2. Pull RAMBO up and the bottom forward to release it
3. Remove 4 white nylon screws holding the power supply in
4. Pull power supply out the bottom opening at an angle
Pretty easy actually
I actually didn't replace the power supply, but had to hunt down an annoying fan noise (turns out it's the small fan behind the RAMBO). I also opened the power supply and cut all but the essential wires + 1 each 12V, 5V & GND. I was also able to route some wires for an upcoming upgrade I've been working on. More soon if it works

Re: Taking ORION apart
in2str, sounds like you figured it out
Yep, the hold in the bottom was meant for it to slide out at an angle.
Good job! Can't wait to see what you're gonna modify it with

Re: Taking ORION apart
Thanks for replying to your answer, int2str. Your info was really useful for me. I received my Orion with the power supply set to 110V. A very bad idea for a shipment in Europe. Of course it was written in the manual, as I noticed 5' after burning the internal fuse. Is support from SeeMeCNC totally non-existent as it seems? I wrote twice (to "orders" and "support") for two different problems and got no answer.
Now the bowden end has unscrewed form the nozzle and refuses to get into place again. With this kind of support I wonder what kind of options I have...
