Just a quick question guys.
I've finished assembling the entire rostock. When I push the cheapstakes up to the endstop and let go they tend to slide down about 5mm.
Should I tighten the belt so that the cheapstakes stay pressed up against the endstops when pushed all the way to the top?

Re: Belt Tension
That does sound looser than mine are, but it doesn't sound like a problem. This would only be an issue if this happened while the motors were on.
What you'll find is that there are wildly varying views on what the proper tension is for these belts, and when everyone is done fighting about it you realize that as long as they're not slipping teeth on the pulley it's probably fine
There are industrial/manufacturer specs for belt tension, but it's difficult to measure, and it's difficult to adjust precisely. I usually get one to where it's snug to fit a finger under, and then I pluck it like a guitar string and adjust the other ones to match the same note.

Re: Belt Tension
What Jim said. (I pull until they snap back a bit but aren't so tight I can't pull)
Plus, when you're up and printing, here's a useful mod.
