Actuall, you guys had it right, prob. about 300ish for the lasercut parts, heated bed, arms, tslots n belts etc... to make the orion an XL

Go check out the rostock page on the website, it's up as the kit now! We're shipping kits the end of this week, and fully assembled will be available in just a few more weeks. Still need to ship a few and figure out our shipping solution on that one, it's a biggin'

That is one good looking printer. The new profile with the acrylic covers is cool!
Makes me want to sell my original Max and buy this new one just because it looks fantastic!

You guys are going to love the new effector platform. No more sanding! It's a single-piece with a tab for the layer fan. The u-joint axles are held in place with a glass-filled nylon spring clip. The same method is used for the Cheapskate mounts.

You are going to have to build a workshop twice the size you have now if they keep coming out with these new printers! :)
