Another 3d printer Guy

Ive been waiting and the day has come , Im ready to order myself a 3d printer and the choices were Max and CLear , but regardless of the autoleveling / calibrating Kossel , I couldnt pull my self away from the looks and the community that seemecnc has to offer. Looking forward to learning and sharing , and learning some more.

Not sure why you say auto leveling and auto calibrating kossel. All of these delta printers run the same firmware - Marlin or Repetier being the most popular. Both have experimental auto calibrating code. Some of us have experimented with it but in all reality, it still needs some work The Kossel Pro and others don't have any secret sauce for auto calibration. Sorry cant seem to find but now that I think about it , it had something to do with moving the printer and maybe along the lines of before each print it autocalibrated or something , regardless , Im sold and will be buying my Rostock Max kit tomorrow , shame I know some kind of Tax refund sale will come , but I am to eager to get it and enjoy all 10 hours while me and the wife put it together (Late Night FUn). Thanks for all the help / info , looking forward cant wait.

Welcome to the forum. They are coming out with a new printer about the size of the Rostock Max you might want to look at before buying the Rostock Max.

Thanks , yeah that looks good , but atm Ive been waiting for awhile and am eager to put my 3d modeling to better use and 3d scanner. And just get my foot in the door. Need a smilie with the head exploding . PoP

I just wanted to make sure that you knew they were coming out with a new model so you didn't kick yourself later. Enjoy your new printer!

Thats worth waiting for , and the kit being roughly around the same cost as the romax? Anyway it can be the first for my first?
