New from Maine!

Post by AndThenSome09 »

I do not have my Rostock Max yet, I will be ordering it in about a week but I wanted to introduce myself as I will be posting my build log here in the forums when I do start building it.

I cant wait! I've wanted a MAX so long I thought the day would never come!!!

I will definitely be adding a lot of pictures and probably some video as well. Anyone have any suggestions about things I should for sure have on hand during the build, things I should do to prepare? Im already reading the new build guide but was wondering if there are any tips or tricks any veteran builders may have? Also I know I am going to want to print with PLA as well as ABS so I know I need a fan to cool the peek but where would I find a good fan mount for the Rostock Max I could print when im up and running? Thanks in advance for any help guys!

Check out http://www.repables.com/ for an stl of a fan mount that snaps on to the hot-end for a small fan.

In the home index-under "The Build Zone". Best of Luck ;)
