Hello, John, Steve and all.
I got mine at the Henry Ford Makers Faire in Dearborn. I have fun building my own 3D Printer.
I only got the electrical stuff left. So far, problems include missing screws. Thanks for your quick support.
* In replace for need of Nylon fishing thread, I used the 1.75mm filament (bent 1/4" 45-deg). I pushed down the hollow hole and fulled up dental floss (nylon thread). Using the dental floss, I tied (staggered) the limit switch pin socket to pull down the white and black wires.
The reason for 45-deg bent on the tip is so that it will deflect outward when it hit the bearing below. It is same reason of staggering the pin sockets when tieing with the dental floss. The pin socket bend easier when they are not bound in parallel.. as they emerged at the bottom.
* I used a small special clamp when locking up the rubber belt ends. Otherwise, it is hard to screw down the tiny bolts.
* I moded the LCD face plate on the laser cutter. I added 4 small bolt holes. I also trimmed the side brackets. Here's one of the instructables, Steve. http://www.instructables.com/id/Assembl ... -and-Brac/
Once my unit start working, I would try to make 2 rolls to mount on top of the 3D Printer or find other solution. I like to be able to switch colors in the middle of a print.
Regards,
John_T
