How to kill SD job?
How to kill SD job?
How do you stop a job with john's new Repetier firmware when running from an SD card?

Haven't tried it but I would think the reset button would stop the print. I could be wrong though.

Re: How to kill SD job?
Kill job in Repetier doesn't do the trick... It only kills a job printing from repetier.
Connecting Repetier in the middle of an SD print kills the job though. That's what I've done, hopefully there's a more streamlined solution.

I was using Marlin before, I'm using the seeme repetier firmware now, it does seem to run quieter now but the on screen lcd controls are much more difficult to use. I can't figure out to change the temps from the lcd even when not printing from the card. Anyone tried to do this?
Sometimes the knob turns left to move down for choices and sometimes it's right. very confusing all around to me...

Turn it left until you reach Extruder, push knob
Move to Temp 0 push knob
left increases temperature, right decreases it
There is also a preset to preheat the bed/extruder for ABS/PLA under quick settings

Removing the SD card in the middle of a print does a good job of killing it
You can manually home the axes after that.

Hit the kill switch that is on the LCD smart controller. It's how I kill a job printing from SD cardbplemmons wrote:How do you stop a job with john's new Repetier firmware when running from an SD card?

Yes. get an eraser from a new #2 pencil, take the eraser out of the pencil, paint it RED and insert it into the hole that has the switch recessed into it. Worked great for me. When ever I printed with SD card I had to fumble around for something to slip in there and KILL job, not with the eraser. Now I have a RED button there that I hit when ever I want to kill a job.Jimustanguitar wrote:Is that the recessed microswitch below the knob?elqisqeyano wrote: Hit the kill switch that is on the LCD smart controller.
