Rostock max v2 alternate calibration question

Hi guys,

I have been struggling to calibrate my printer and based off of another thread I thought I would try another method. I bought a set of feeler gauges and went to town and did about 25 rounds based on the flow chart. I'm using appendix b http://download.seemecnc.com/rostockmax ... dition.pdf

My question is that the guide says adjust each tower and then check center. If its off adjust the horizontal rod radius .05 and doit again.

Everything I've read says the horizontal radius wont adjust the center point. Am I missing something will it eventually drop to the right height I spent over an hour going through each tower then adjusting the radius and it doesn't seem to change.

well to my surprise 3 more rounds and every point was dragging on the feeler gauge.
