Printing multiple parts at the same time helps. I'll try adding a minimum layer time. Thanks!avigeilpro wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 6:41 pm Try to print 4 or 6 in same time, or add a "minimum time by layer". The problem here look like the layers don't have time to cool down before your printer print the next layer.

"Blobby" or "Melted" vertically thin features
I have an issue with my prints that I can't seem to get rid of. When I try to print something that is vertically thin, for example a pillar or the top of a pyramid, it looks blobby or melted. Example: https://i.imgur.com/L7LKEzo.jpg https://i.imgur.com/aGtSwmH.jpg I have a Rostockmax V3.2. I'm using ...

Re: Part Inner Dimensions
Well, that did help, but it was only an adjustment from an average of .014 off to .012. It seems like my only option is to manually scale all internal features before exporting to STL.

Re: SE 300 Jams Repeatedly
Fan seems to be fine. It idles most of the time, and kicks up to high when the hot end is actually hot. The main thing that seems to have resolved this was bumping up the heat to 215. Based on what I was seeing, the PLA was getting hot enough to soften but not actually melt, which led to it coiling ...

Part Inner Dimensions
I'm rather pleased with the outer dimensions of the parts I'm printing; on a 1" feature, it seems that I can expect a tolerance under .005. However, the inner dimensions are consistently off. If I have a hole that's supposed to be .5" diameter, it will come out .014 under, at .486. The .014 is ...

Re: SE 300 Jams Repeatedly
UPDATE:
I cleaned the nozzle with a drill. I also changed the layer height to 0.1mm as opposed to 0.4mm. It's working much better now. Not perfect; there are still plenty of problems with the parts it's giving me, but it's not clogging any more.

Re: SE 300 Jams Repeatedly
Heatsink fan is definitely running.
We've ordered a cleaning kit for the nozzle, and we're going to switch to ABS instead of the PLA.

RESOLVED: SE 300 Jams Repeatedly
I must be doing something wrong. We recently purchased a RostockMax V3.2. I've gotten it set up, and I've actually had a few successful prints that turned out pretty nicely. However, since this morning, every time I try to print, the hot end jams. Here are my settings: Temperature: 210 Speed Factor ...
