Re: Filament stuck between bowden tube and hotend

I have run it all the way up to 210 with the same problem. I read on a forum a little bit back an employee of seemecnc had been running it with those settings without an issue. It's how I got near perfect prints. The hotter I run it, the harder it seems to be to get it to print. I even tried hacker ...

Filament stuck between bowden tube and hotend

When printing with PLA, from what I can tell I am getting heat creep. The filament just starts "sputtering out in an inconsistent flow. It seems to help when I increase extrusion, but doesn't solve the problem. I have to drop the temperature in the room just to keep it printing. But I start to get ...

Configuration Cube Minor Adjustments

I feel like I am getting it dialed in. I still have a little variation in the form of a slight wobble in the vertical. The one question I have is, the top and bottom are are the correct dimensions, but the sides are about .2mm smaller. I printed it in white ABS from seemecnc. Is that just shrinking ...

Re: FrznTek's R Max v2

I got the same message with mine the other day when building it. So far it runs fine, but I haven't run a large file yet. Also, did you try hooking a multimeter to the board when you try and run the failing motors?

Re: And so it begins...

Say hello to LittleNat! When I started this build log, I was going to document and showcase all of my spectacular fails along the way. But some serious credit to SeeMe CNC. They know how to ship a kit with good instructions. Once I got some time to sit down, the next thing I know, I'm holding a fan ...

Re: And so it begins...

I can see how I am going to want to upgrade and mod this beauty as I get better. Thanks for the tips on wires, and consider them added. Finally got some time during the day to work on it over the weekend! So much more enjoyable if I'm not stumbling over myself just to thread a screw. :) max8.jpg ...

I think I have a handle on the basics of the printer, but I haven't even begun to touch on what the upgrades would require in the future. I don't suppose you have some examples for me?

Re: And so it begins...

We've gone vertical! So I had a goal last night to get the towers up before heading to sleep. max5.jpg While yes I did accomplish my goal, it took WAY longer than it should have. I was a little tired when I started from putting up a new fence around my yard. So I started at less than optimal ...

Re: Just got it yesterday!

I truly believe the tape is what really gets you into the whole project, because by the time you're done removing it all you're damn sure to finish building the thing and to see it run!!! Make calibration and all the other little things roll of like water on a ducks back! Yeah I can't decide if ...

Re: And so it begins...

After 2 evenings of a couple hours each, tape removed(evil genius who designed this), stepper motors mounted, and the power supply setup. max3.jpg Now I did make a mistake as I was putting the washers on the screws of all things, it was 2 am and I was very tired. I snagged a washer and shoved it on ...

And so it begins...

I'm not doing anything out of the standard with the build, but I just felt the need to throw my trials into the mix. Soon my pretty....so very soon......

Just got it yesterday!

I have been doing some version of CNC prototyping for a few years now and have been itching to pull the trigger on a printer for longer than I care to admit... The fact that I can build this one just tickles me pink. I really do look forward to change from being a lurker to a contributor. I am gonna ...
