I'm sure there's a very simple answer to this, but it eludes me...
The manual clearly states the white wire is to be pin #1 in the connector, however I don't see where it's stated which spade the white wire connects to on the switch (C or NC). Could someone please clarify? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies and info, guys. I've decided the first stop will be local glass shops, setting my sights on Corning/Pyrex/borosilicate. Failing that, I'll try and source some polycarbonate. I'll be sure to post my experience(s)
