Broken thermistor, calibrate the new one?
So i managed to fry my thermistor on the hotend and now i'm almost finished installing the new on. But then i startet thinking, do i need to calibrate the new thermistor?
It's the exact same thermistor as the one i fried.

Re: Unsolved Mystery. Weird Z0 behavior around build perimet
huh.. I couldn't find it on the firmware i had on my pc, so i downloaded it from github and now it shows up
Thought it was supposed to be 35, so if it's already changed to 38.4, there's no need to change it,or?

Re: Unsolved Mystery. Weird Z0 behavior around build perimet
So i came over this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-92PSNINO0 And then i tried to print that calibration circle, and it was just a big mess.. Up until now i've only used the middle of the glass, but now i have several pieces to print. But only the prints closest to the center turns out ok. So ...

Re: Help with e3d v6 install
Hm, i only get 240°c max, but in the firmware it says #define MAXTEMP 275
The only change i've made so far is the thermistor.

Re: Help with e3d v6 install
ooooh nice. But just to be sure, this is what came up, so i'm supposed to change #define EXT0_TEMPSENSOR_TYPE 97 to #define EXT0_TEMPSENSOR_TYPE 8, is that correct?

Re: Help with e3d v6 install
Thank god someone made a thread about this so i don't have to.. BUT, what i've read here didn't help me that much. I can't seem to find out where this "#define EXT0_TEMPSENSOR_TYPE 8" is gonna go, what line am i supposed to switch that with? I took a printscreen of what i think is the correct page ...

E3DV6 or Jhead?
So i want to try out a new hotend and i don't know which one of those is most recommended on the max v2? I mostly use PLA, but i've read several people having trouble with PLA on E3Dv6..
Would be nice to hear from people that use either of those hotends.

Re: noz.temp changing
*facepalm* Forgot about the fans.. so used to using only PLA, so when trying out ABS, i forgot about them. I guess they're the reason of the temperature drop.

noz.temp changing
Hey, so when i'm doing a print at i.e. 240°c, 15-30min into the print, the nozzle temp according to the display goes down waaay much.. today it went down to 198°c from 240°c. I have the Max V2, all stock parts. The print started out fine.. but when i went under 200°c,it started failing badly.. so how ...

Re: lightning..
So today i finally got my replacement RAMBo. So when i took out the old board, i noticed this little broken part to the left of the usb port. Can this be the thing that messed up my usb connection?
And btw, i just got the printer up and running, but i'm not sure if i need to calibrate the PID's again?
