Also, are you using a PEEK fan? It's possible the filament went gooey and jammed up.

The only time I had this happen, one of my resistor wires was loose and the hotend was loosing power (heat) intermittently. This caused the filament to jam and get flatted by the feed gear. You may also make sure the filament is feeding smoothly in general. I doubt this is caused by too much heat at ...
