Re: Welcome to Australia

Yeah I'm glad I'm around, took me a day or so to fully realise that I actually was still alive. Sounds odd, but getting out alive felt so surreal that I wasn't sure I actually had. I even went to the beach and caught some waves with only slight nervousness. All is good, life is good. Wow what a ...

Re: Loud Rambo Fan? Use this!

I just received one of these fans today. I noticed it has a 3 to 2 pin adapter in there with the normal red and black cables. Did you guys connect the adapter, cut the connector and then solder it onto the rambo?

Re: Just bought a used Rostock Max V2

yes you would, Mcslappy here on the forums have designed one which works just great and prints very smoothly http://repables.com/r/296/ heathenx also has a version. I am using the fan shroud from this version to work with Mcslappys original "longer" version of the mount http://repables.com/r/338/

Guanu, i was never aware of step 15 - (After you have adjusted the screws, You have changed the Z height, so you want to go back and re-set the Z height the way you did earlier in this guide.) Going off previous methods documented on here, i never had to recalibrated the Z after the initial Z Height ...

Re: Possible to use Cura and Rep host at the same time?

If what you are asking is "can I use Cura to slice my STLs to create gcode and then use Repetier Host to print them" then the answer is yes. Simply save the gcode to a file in Cura and then load into RH to print. Very similar to the way you would use KISS. ah ye i guess i could do that, that makes ...

Possible to use Cura and Rep host at the same time?

Hi all I tend to shift between Cura and kisslicer at the moment purely because Kiss doesn't have a brim option....yet I actually prefer Kiss's quality but I like the ease of use in Cura. With Cura I don't like that you cant control the printer through the PC and only via the LCD on the printer ...
